Naturopathic Services

Naturopathic doctors are trained as primary health care physicians, and spend the same amount of time as your medical doctor, obtaining their knowledge and skills. Your naturopath has taken 4500 hours of classroom education in medical sciences and natural therapies, as well as 1500 hours of supervised clinical training.

A naturopath will treat patients implementing a blend of conventional diagnostic procedures and naturopathic therapies such as clinical nutrition, supplementation, acupuncture, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, counselling and stress management.

Why Should I See A Naturopath?

There are lots of reasons to see a naturopath. Children, youth, adults and seniors all have great reasons – overall great health!

Naturopaths work well with your chiropractor and massage therapist to deal with acute and chronic pain. Acupuncture is tremendously effective with reducing inflammation and healing tissue.

Many people will seek out a naturopath for help with managing and reducing medications. Busy GP’s often won’t have the time to help sort through dietary and lifestyle conditions, that may easily be altered to help reduce the need for many of the meds people are taking.

Sports conditioning and weight loss are certainly something that a naturopath is going to be helpful with, for safe and permanent results.

Allergies, stress reduction, personal counselling, disease processes, drug rehabilitation, pregnancy, disabilities, and fibromyalgia are also things a naturopath is able to help with.

A naturopathic doctor practices with a unique and comprehensive approach to health care, working in tandem with conventional medicine, complimenting the work of your family doctor and medical specialists. Naturopaths address the cause of the condition or illness, rather than just treating the symptoms.
